Here's an old time version I arranged way back in 2000. Most people were playing it in Bluegrass style at blistering speeds. Fun little tune for beginner clawhammer players...

HA! Agreed Don, I didn't make it Mixolydian like so many Bluegrassers do....That D belong in there in my opinion...Jack but!! F is doable and works both ways...HA p.s. I don't think I've ever heard Bill Monroe put in that F chord....

You know, Jack, I was going to mention that, how Monroe stuck with the old time way. Maybe that's how his Uncle Pen played it, Anyway, i decided not to, people on here get mad at me when I complicate things too much.
