Same email address mentioned in the first post in the original thread...
From the other thread: both members were locked out a couple of days ago.
FYI jdf1966: if you receive an e-mail from what you think is a scammer that is sent from the Hangout, there should be a spot at the bottom of the page to report it to the admin. Just click on that and give pertinent information; i.e., user name, given name, URL to classified if they're selling, anything that would let us check him out.

What happens to the ad when a scammer is locked out?
The OP reported it less than an hour ago...

Correct.
However, my question was what happens to an ad posted by a scammer, when the scammer is locked...
The OP mentioned the email address, and the classifieds...today.
TexasBanjo said the scammer was locked "a couple of days ago".
I checked that email address, and it's valid.
So if the ad somehow stayed up, and included a valid email address, the scammer could be contacted directly by an unsuspecting member.

FYI: When we lock out a scammer, it automatically takes the ad off the classifieds. If a member receives an e-mail from the spammer with an URL toward the ad, it may come up in a Google search, but again, will NOT be available on the Hangout.
