I saw this guy on the Victoria weekly wanted list last week! He sure gets around!

Yeah! I'm not sure why there's problems with the CBC. It's Thee Most Reliable news source in Canada (ducks!)
I have had windows defender on here since I bought this laptop. I have some Ad Block thing somebody recommended on too. Never have any problems. We had nothing but trouble with McKaffee & Norton on our old computers. Froze them into garbage.
I surf all over as if big brother is watching me so I don't have any trouble whatsoever!
Some technosaurs might be still running Windows 7 Coleman 64s on white gas!
My P.C. is secure & where I do any important stuff. Phone (hate it!) is my walkie talkie, Spotify for Worktunes & weather.
The boat theft brought this to mind. https://www.cbsnews.com/pictures/barefoot-bandit-his-life-and-crimes/21/
When I worked up the coast I could only get 2 radio stations . NWPB & KZOK Classic Rock. The Bob,Spike & Joe Show. Bob Rivers, the main guy used to brag he married one of Steven Tylers girlfriends!
He had an airplane & they think it was stolen by the Barefoot Bandit! It was a fun story to follow on the news & with those goofballs!
MB RCMP posted this to Facebook. Crazy??? Maybe/maybe not, but I don't read stuff like it every day.
"On March 14, 2022, an on-duty RCMP officer was driving in a fully marked police vehicle on a winter road, returning to Bunibonibee Cree Nation. The officer encountered a caribou and attempted to hunt the caribou illegally.
The constable used his patrol-issued carbine rifle from his police vehicle and discharged two rounds at the caribou. However, the discharged rounds struck the police vehicle. The caribou was uninjured.
Upon return to the detachment, the officer made his supervisor aware, and an investigation was launched immediately. The Independent Investigation Unit of Manitoba was made aware and assumed a monitoring role. Conservation Officers with the Manitoba Department of Natural Resources and Northern Development also monitored and assisted with the investigation.
On February 9, 2023, Karl Tabares-Chevarie, 34, was charged with Use a Prohibited Firearm in a Careless Manner and Hunt Without a Licence.
In June 2022, Tabares-Chevarie resigned and was discharged from the RCMP."
How could you miss it? First, the Dead Fish. And, He clearly shouted the words "Hey You Guys" and if THAT is not a coded dog whistle then I've never heard one! (Hint, "Goonies" is more than a movie) Just search (YOU know where) and get the REAL story of why the US Coast Guard used their wave machine on him, and made the arrest look like a rescue. And remember: the Dead Fish. Pass it on.
....and not to hi-jack the thread, but otoh, maybe not worthy of a stand-alone.... here's another "interesting" one [at least for guys that skated/hockey-ed in small town rinks]. I've never heard of another like it .... ya do what ya gotta do! https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/saskatchewan/hockey-rink-catwalk-internet-sensation-1.6736544?fbclid=IwAR2nESYhzk-uQagbDTrfXHEJUw5dQipUNSQuC0c0y9upkcichRpqltq6SSw
