I heard Lukas Pool has started building a more affordable model he is calling the Sylamore model. Has anyone here played one yet? Sounds interesting.
I have not played one but had a good look at the pics Lukas posted on FB. It looks like it's a drum shell based pot with no tone ring which should put it in the same company as the Enoch Tradesman and the new Ode stuff. Guessing the price will be in the same range as well, maybe even a bit lower based on the introductory student price that was offered.
