So I borrowed my sisters FBook account to sell a honda civic. Day 1, I got about 40 messages...every one of them with the automated FB response
"Is this still available"
Even though i stated in the ad that if ad is still up car is still available.
I responded back with "yes" to all of them and didnt get a single return response.
Day 2. I got another couple dozen of the same. This time I responded withthe FB automated button
"yes, are you still interested"
About half of them responded back this time but not a single person wanted to come see the car, just wanted to make worthless offers. So i responded to many of the offers stating "sure, come see the car and I will accept your offer"
I only got one response
"Hey gramps, we buy things over the internet now, welcome to the net!"
So i concluded FB is just all scammers.
I then listed the civic on craigslist and sold it that weekend.
Am I wrong about FB?

I think it depends on what yer sellin..
Me willys went quick..
As did me chevy square nose..
If i put the little Key truck..up..
Probly be gone.in a week..or less..
Tire kickers suck tho..
I sold some 1oz silver coins on marketplace yesterday and what a pain in the butt that was. Still got that 'is it still for sale' message even though I had put in the 'if you see...........'. Buyers would offer really low, stupid prices and I ended up selling them to one buyer a bit lower than what I was going to settle for just to get rid off them and so I could end the ad.
