Hi!
I'm trying to accompany someone on guitar and someone on bass guitar. I noticed the banjo player in the original version of this song does a more 3-finger style of playing, and I was wondering if someone could help me provide an accompaniment in clawhammer style. Thanks! Hope you find this song as charming as I do if you haven't heard it before :)
The banjo seems to be supplying texture to the tune with a rhythmic backup without playing the melody. Here's a really basic clawhammer backup that may get you started. I have one tab line for the verse and one tab line for the chorus since the chord pattern simply repeats for each line. I based the tab on the video -The Be Good Tanyas - Only In The Past (Live at The Railway Club) - YouTube
