Very nice Chris, I bought your HM Ladyclaw with white ladie ring a great banjo.
Very cool! I am glad that Gold Tone is upping their game and catering to the modern "festival style" version of Round Peak banjo.
I'd like to help out on some historical points that they left out of the video.
The slanted scoop is no doubt an easier to cut version of the S shape scoop developed by Kevin Enoch.
The "modified Gold Tone tailpiece" is a direct (and uncredited) knock-off of the late Will Fielding's popular tailpiece.
The rod assembly was originally designed by Randy "Rudy" (I don't know his last name but these are usually called "Rudy Rod"), or Jason Romero (called a "Romero Rod") depending on the full design.
It would be nice if they were to cite their inspiration, or at least give a shout out to the originators.
If the forecast holds true, we're looking at the latter part of February for the arrival of this intriguing critter.
