Every day my wife texts me people who just "died suddenly". Today was Simon Dunn, Austrailian Olympian and rugby player, age 38 AND Jeremy Ruehlemann, model age 37. Yesterday it was Alan Komissaroff, Fox News Exec age 47.
The other day was a 6 year old girl Mel Cabana reported to the hospital with "flu like symptoms. She then received two heart procedures but still "died suddenly" after suffering a stroke. Six years old.
Clair Bridges a 21 year old model had her legs amputated due to blood clots. Then suffered from myocarditis and kidney failure. Then "died suddenly".
American Idol contestant CJ Harris died on Sunday of heart attack. Age 31.
And on and on and on. Seems like some sort of holocaust to myself and others who see the pattern but many others think nothing to see...
I just can't believe I'm the only one here who continues to see it in their own personal life.
Good grief. Seriously. People either die suddenly or they die slowly. Are there any other ways to die? Would it be better if everyone died slowly?
There are about 380,000,000 people in the US. Each and every one of 'em is going to die. Fast or slow. Dead.
My personal preference would be to die suddenly. What about you?
My personal preference is the same as some comedian I heard, years ago, who proclaimed
"I intend to live forever, or perish in the attempt!"
But, seriously:
I began my 78th orbit of the Sun on January 21st, and am surprised to have made so many previous.
At my PRACTICE FUNERAL ( sometime in July 2023) I shall remind the attendees that
"It was a wonderful world, full of interesting people, and I feel privileged to have been allowed to participate."
