Thanks, Andrew. Always very uplifting to hear the great Brad Roth. Every time I listen to some of the current day fine Vox players, I can't help but think how improved Eddie Peabody's sound could have been if only he had gone with a heavier gauge of strings, not tuned up a whole note and used a good stiff pick. But that's just my humble opinion. Here' another nice Brad Roth video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n6XZaNKvjtI
Brad--You rank with the very best banjo players out there. Great technique--dynamics (so musically important)--very seldom heard on the banjo. A joy to listen to. The song you played 'You keep coming back like a song' written Irving Berlin, new to me and such a great song. I am currently reading a book about the life of Irving Berlin--did you know he wrote over 1600 hundred songs! Incredible. Some massive big hits.
I agree with 'Omeboy' about Eddie Peabody regarding strings. Eddie was a great musician. Trailblazer.
