This Morning Dec 11, 2022 South Central Virginia lost a Legendary Banjo player...... Troy Brammer.

That is sad. My banjo teacher ,Clyde Blaylock from Chattanooga area introduced me to him back in the early 90s at Mineral Springs,or maybe Cherokee ??Troy Bramner could play any song in any key without a capo. I remember thinking as a how beginner how nice and gracious, he was. He was amazing and could flat out play the 5 ! I bought cassette tape of his. May still have it ? Sad news no doubt.

Sad news Doug. Troy was a wonderful gentleman and a fabulous musician. Jeremy Stephens owes much of his talent to the guidance of Troy. RIP Troy Brammer.
