Go to your favorite online news sources (USA) and search for "Sam Brinton" to see if your sources are reporting the current story. Some are not, total blackout, and it IS a story. Not earth shattering, no big deal, but a real solid news item that deserves reporting. The fact that it is not being reported is a bigger deal than the story itself. Now if you just google "Sam Brinton", well I at least do get the current story. But not at CNN or NBC or CBS. Not at PBS. Why?

.... and here I've been accusing our Canadian networks of deliberately misleading us [by omission as much or more than by commission]. Boy was I wrong!!
Edit: I did the Google search.... found out who Brinton is [your post ^^ is the first I've heard of the non-binary guy/lady]. The link was to FOX; I didn't see links to CNN, etc., etc.

It all depends..on...where ..YOU..want to look...
I swear thee are a bunch of folks that only look at one side.. n..
Poopoo..
Any other as...
Poppycock...
I is smart n you are not... crowd..
I look at a number of places..
Both sides..n..sometimes a few more..
Just to try to see who comes closest..
To hitting the nail on the head...
N..sometimes..i think..
None of them do...
The news outlets not reporting it most likely disagree with your judgment on newsworthiness. Were I to search, I could find numerous presumably newsworthy stories untouched by mainstream media, liberal and conservative, every week, if not every day. Editors will choose minor stories like this one based on their readers likely interest. If this person had been accused of selling state secrets, I think the story would have ranked high with all media. Question: What makes this story any more newsworthy than any other about any public employee with a security clearance being accused of a minor crime?

If Brinton was a srraight man identifying as male this story would have made page 3 of his local free sheet. Why is it so much more sinificant that it should be plastered over all major news outlets because of the sexual preference of the subject ? The real question is not why the mainstream media ignored it but why th likes of Fox highlighted it
The nonstop outrage machine, I have noticed, becomes even more outraged when others do not share their outrage. Fox, in particular, takes nonsense issues and puffs them full of nonsense to keep their audience riled up. Think Mr. Potatohead, think green M&M's, think Dr. Seuss. No one give a crap about this nonsense but Fox and the far right turn this into all sorts of conspiracy.
So here, on BHO, is a test of that loyalty to the rage machine.
Try this one on for size. This might illustrate how this bubble is beyond absurd.
A year ago I was jamming at someone's house, the dobro player who showed up to jam was giddy and beside himself because he had just had lunch with General Michael Flynn when Flynn visited the upstate SC area, whenever that was. (It did not take too much probing to learn this dobro player had to pay for the privilege of lunching with Gen. Flynn, itself a red flag, but I digress.) Everyone at that jam was ooohing and ahh-ing. Not me. I asked, "You lunched with a man who lunched with Putin and was awarded Putin's medal of honor, in Moscow?" My question caused some consternation, as NONE of my fellow jammers had ever heard that before. I might as well have been on Mars.
So try this search experiment. I did, and nowhere to be found on Fox. Try going to Fox's website and search for "Michael Flynn lunch with Putin" or "Michael Flynn Putin medal of honor." See what you find. Nothing. It's as if it never happened. Nowhere to be found on Fox. Try the same search on google, see what you see.
So what is it I'm supposed to be outraged by, this time, again? It's hard to keep up.

... to continue my test, again, go to Fox News' website and search for "Michael Flynn fined"
This is a matter of fact. Flynn was fined for violating some things relating to that dinner with Putin, I'll leave that to ya'll to discover what that was about.
But nowhere to be found of Fox. Nothing. Weird, since this is a matter of fact -- it happened -- and is not subject to opinion of whether it happened, or not. News is news, right?
Now do the same search on google.
And now it's a second suitcase! So, They has an issue. And generally, any D.C. official, minor or otherwise, who is involved in a scandal, well that scandal get endless publicity by our gossipy press. In this case, the minor official has been a major hog for media attention, but not just now please! And there is no question that such a scandal in the previous administration would be front page news, with editorials questioning the judgement of whoever would made such an appointment. My question is whether this person is being protected due to their political affiliation or their public Trans persona?

It's hardly a big story unless, for some and highlighting there personal prejudices, it's really the person that is the story. And for the same I doubt they care at all about stories not covered by their favourite media.
Minor Officicals do not carry a Q security clearance and he did not "apparently" steal he is on video stealing the luggage and was charged with grand larceny. This was not the first time he had done this. With his position which included nuclear waste disposal do you think just maybe he might be just a small threat for blackmail given his lifesytle choices.

Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, Boeing, General Dynamics etc let dozens of people go every year for mishandling classified information. Many more than that keep their jobs after mishandling classified info. Most cases are investigated and should be reported to the government so that the gov can determine what to do. Company security officers often dont report their friends but just tell them to be more careful. Most of these cases are simply forgetting to lock the material in the safe at days end but not all.
Go try to find stories of normal people fired for taking documents home that should remain in a scif. Thats never reported because youd be bored by the 20th story in the same month but is far worse for the country than a luggage thief. Just to place things in perspective. IMHO
Frank posted---". to continue my test, again, go to Fox News' website and search for "Michael Flynn fined"---"
I did just that, and found a Fox blackout on Flynn's recent fine. So, excellent Frank. My subject is selective news reporting. I'm not shilling for Fox or GOP or MAGA, and I'm not hating on the current administration. I'm showing just how selective our news reporting is today. Now what would be Fox's motivation in not reporting the Flynn story? Why protect Flynn? The reasons for the deliberate omissions are what I find interesting.
this topic is not about someone working for a company that may or may not contract with our federal government this topic if you haven’t guessed already is about a Government employee with one of the highest security clearance that has privy to nuclear material. Do think for a moment and ask yourself, is this person the right fit for this high level job? How many of our adversaries would love to have the information that this guy has access to? If a person will steal luggage from an airport terminal what other mental flaws do they possess? Oh and may I add it's also about selective censoring by MSM

My point was there are dozens of security clearance holders let go every month because they are found to be unfit to handle classified information. This particular individual is no exception and should be fired. For those who rely on the alphabet soup news outlets for news, dont worry...the next gen doesnt pay attention to them anymore. Social media is where their news comes from. Twitter, discord, reddit, pinterest. I get mine from bing and all of these stories pop up on bing.

What? Someone who is open about their lifestyle choice is a security risk? Or are you saying if they are this then they might be this as well.

Which is not even close to what I said. You seem to think it should be widely covered on mainstream media. But perhaps some mainstream media don't consider it so important. And of course they story has been reported on various mainstream media sites. Even UK media.
