Dog song
(Written back when he lived in ILLINOIS, and I lived in WISCONSIN
He's a GOOD dog, mostly.
Hasn't pooped in her house in about a year.
But, threw up in her car on the way to MY house, and, even though taken out every couple of hours, he pooped on MY carpet, 2 days in a row.
So I stole a tune from JONI MITCHELL and wrote him a little song:
So let's grab our banjos and SING!

Pukes and turds and whiny sounds,
Are things all made by our sweet hounds...
We buy or rescue from the pounds...
I've looked at dogs that way.
And if they need a rabies shot,
Or a trip to the grooming spot,
We'll spend most everything we've got,
Just throw it all away!
I've looked at dogs from both ends now,
The barks, the farts,
and still somehow...
It's doggy pleasures I recall...
Don't mind the pukes and turds,
At all!

Anywho nice parody there Mike I find myself doing similar parodies to other songs as well but not what comes out of the opposite ends of a dog. Someone’s gotta do it Right?
Please post some of your parodies.
Homer & Jethro did 'em; Alan Sherman did 'em; Weird Al Yankovich did 'em, as did hundreds or thousands of unknown poets.
Shall we petition Eric for a separate PARODIES forum??
