[I've watched them removing traps at the end of the season, but never been around for the start.]
As I understand things, "Lobster Trap Christmas trees" aren't exclusive to N.S.
Edit: And a fine looking full moon is out in beautiful west central Man-ee-toe-bah .... but at -30 C. [-40ish w/windchill]. most of my "looking" will be from the doorway.
