Hello,
I'm an admirer of Shackleton's meteorologist, doctor, and banjo (zither) player, Leonard "Doc" Hussey — this footage of him had me wondering if it's possible to identify what he's playing here. It is a clip 40 seconds into the film. The frame rate is rather low, but I found a website to mirror the video which has helped a little.
So far I have only been able to pick out a few notes, but if anyone has further insight or guesses, I would welcome more experienced persons' input.
