" Uncle Billy Play Your Fiddle For me" Looking for tab, cords, and words for this song, Scruggs Style. The Bluegrass Cardinals did it but can't find it anywhere. Any help would be great. Thanks!! garyf4@prodigy.net
If one of the breaks is a version of Down the Road, there are about half a dozen or so tabs of that song in the archives. Go here: banjohangout.org/w/tab/browse/...etter/v/D and scroll down, listen/look at the tabs and see if one is what would work for you.

Originally posted by heavy5Nice tune by the Cardinals --- work out the chords , then the notes , then add the rolls , its really a very simple tune to play . Similar to Flatt & Scruggs "Down the Road" or maybe Cripple Creek .
I think a great tune to not depend on tabs & venture ahead on your own w/o tabs .
I got ya, Been playing a long time and the music part I agree is not a big deal. The words in the second verse on their recording get a a little hard to make out in some spots. Would love to put it in one of our set lists for the spring season. They were a great band. Thanks

I guess I was throwing it out there, been playing for about 40 years. Looking more for the words than the music part. Got away from the tab stuff long time ago, not much on just copping someone else if that makes sense. A great song I really want to add to our set list. Thank you for your input !!!!!
