Hi can anyone please help me identify the maker of this banjo pot, the neck is not original to the instrument and was custom ordered.
Looks well made but cant see any makers stamps on the pot.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Helmut Rheingans. It all looks like his work to me. Looks like the one that sold at auction in September I think for £140.

My apologies 24 bracket thick wood rim and exactly the same hardware he uses pointed me in his direction. Looks a nicely made pot though.
he said that the Banjo belonged to Dave Wade ( Classic Banjo ) who sadly passed away last year, he commisioned the neck for a build .
Maybe it was an old pot that Dave particularly liked. Apart from the dowel brace all the hardware looks like Stewmac to me. From the marks I would say it was originally from a resonator banjo.
I’m surprised it has wire strings on it. If Wade had it made with the proper no angle neck set those strings would be a mile high at the 12th fret.
