Here is my video review of the new Gold Tone Bela Fleck signature model. They sent me one of the first ones many months ago and after spending a lot of time with it and tweaking the set up to my liking I'm really impressed with it. Enjoy!
Gabe. My man! You are awesome brother! Always enjoy your videos. Excellent review and picking. Happy holidays and keep putting the 3 to the 5
I’d never guess, but it does sound great , very pleasant tone … thanks for the review…
The "I'd never guess it sounds great" attitude is something that Gold Tone has really been trying to change with the introduction of the OB-3 and the Bela banjo, and they're doing a great job of it! These banjos are, far and away, the best banjos Gold Tone has ever made and prove that you can get a fantastic banjo that is not made in the United States that is not only more affordable, but sounds killer and, equally as importantly, plays easily. Of course it's not gonna be as good as my old Gibson, but they aren't meant to be because they want them to be affordable. These two Gold Tones that I have sound and play good enough that I wouldn't hesitate to tour with them (and I'm a picky dingus!!!)
