Today I (Liz) made creamed spinach and a pumpkin cheesecake that is mostly done - after it cools I will make the pecan praline topping.
Tomorrow I will do the stuffing. Turkey, gravy, and mashed potatoes on Thursday.
I'll just (STUD)..Half'ta suffah throught it.. :0/

We are doing a community Thanksgiving this year, at a pavilion at a park, with about forty neighbors. The host provides several turkeys and hams and everyone contributes some type of side or dessert, "BYOB plus something to share". Usually followed by impromptu jam session, this will be our first year to attend and it sounds like fun.
Where does the Cranberry fit in? It ain't Thanksgiving without the Cranberry Sauce which isn’t real sauce More on the lines of jelly. But still bring on the Sauce. Buttered dinner roll with the sauce and pice of turkey inside. That’s what I’m talking about along with a fork full of dressing and sauce. Yummmy.

We only want cranberry sauce from a can, with the ridges from the can molded into the sides. That homemade fresh berry junk just does not cut it!
My daughter and I are going out for Thanksgiving. No messed up kitchen, no baking, no setting the table, no dishes to wash and..... unfortunately, no leftovers.
Everything that's been mentioned above sounds great! Wish I was there to help eat it all.

That's exactly what I'm talking about. I could eat just the dressing and cranberry sauce by themselves. Followed by the dinner roll stuffed with turkey and Cranberry sauce. Did I mention I like cranberry sauce?

All I want is a pie. Just a regular 9" Pyrex pie plate with one piece each of pumpkin, apple, cheese cake, key lime and raisin. Death by fork.

I make the salad for the family luncheon. Spring mix greens; tomatoes; olives; broccoli; green onions; lots of feta. Eaters choose their dressing.
My daughters volunteered to do the menu and the bulk of the cooking. They chose, in homage to their heritage, to do German dishes. It was requested I make my salt brotchen (rolls) and bring the wines. Marilyn was asked to make her cucumber salad.

Heading to Ottawa , Illinois for thanksgiving with part of our family and my wife’s family.
I’m in charge of the ham, mashed potatoes and red eye gravy!!!
Sides are green bean casserole, scalloped corn, coleslaw, veggies and I hope Hawaiian rolls, pumpkin & pecan pie.
Breakfast will be venison breakfast sausage, eggs and grits .
Leftovers for the next day or two are anticipated!!!

My wife and I have been together so long that she can read my mind UNCANNING she comes back from town. Look what I got you she said she hold out a favorite drink of mine at this time of year. Cranberry Sprite. I don’t know how she does it. She doesn’t make Lasagna she’s a keeper.
