Loretta Lynn has died. A great loss to Country Music.
One of the greatest.
I enjoyed her music...
I have many of her albums.
Her Christmas album has been a staple of my family since I was a child. I will never forget seeing her in concert with Twitty and others at the Toledo Sports Arena as a small child. I missed a chance to see The Diamond Duet on tour with Randy Travis in Cleveland years later. I will always regret that missed opportunity.

Her and Conway were the best Country Duo for their time. Thank you Loretta for teaching Country Music how a lady should carry herself. First Lady Of Country in my opinion.
Just heard that on the noon news.
My thoughts and prayers go out to her family. May she rest in peace.
the real queen of country music,,,, she was one of a kind and will be missed ,,,RIP loretta .

Mark O’Connor posted this today on his FB page. He had done a recording session with her.
My, My...What a talent! What a life story! I still have a song list I created in my music folder of those early ladies of Country and Western music. And, still play it on occasion.
You done good, Loretta. Enjoy, your peace now. Brad
