Good dark and early morning from cool Kingston, Ontario. It's 8C now, will drop a couple of degrees, then go up to 18C under mostly sunny skies. I hoped to get in a decent bicycle ride yesterday, but woke up to intense pain. My trip to Kingston General yielded, after questioning, bloodwork, prodding, a needle, a sample, and CT scan, that I have kidney stones. I'm on three medications. What a drag. So I don't know the status of our planned Prince Edward County Studio Tour (or the Battersea Pumpkin Fest). Or when I can cycle. Oh, well, no payment necessary. Even the meds were free.
I found some "new" Manly MacDonald paintings on an art gallery Web site. This one is "Fisherman, Dory, and Gulls at Wharf".
Have a great day! (Don't get [kidney] stoned!)
Good morning from Sweden
G’mornin’ everybody,, it’s 8 minutes east of midnight here in Cowtown, Alberta. Today’s high! will be a nice 71*F under mostly sunny skies. (Alberta is the sunniest of all the Canadian provinces). But of course all those in the oil industry around here aren’t that thrilled to see the big solar farms being installed everywhere.
We’re still having outdoor jams at the park, even though indoor jams have been going again since the spring,,, it’s a nicer experience outside, as you can see. (that’s me to the right of the bass,, banjo kind of hidden )
Have a super Saturday everyone. It’s a cloudy day today in Massachusetts thanks to the remnants of Ida. We may get a few showers.
I finally heard from my brother. They lost their carport and the outer layer of the roof. Thankfully the structure is still solid. Still no power.
Here’s an interesting scar from a limb removal:
