Good dark and early morning from cloudy Kingston, Ontario. It's 12C now and will hit 17C later, with a continuation of the showers we've been having. Monday was a nothing day, with the main features being music practice and getting the garbage ready for this morning's pickup. No trip to the County this week, so just this pic of last Tuesday, with John, Carol, Greg, and Joe jamming. Somewhat fuzzy - not much light and no tripod.
Have a great day! (Make even more music!)
G’mornin’ all you flange swappers. It’s 48 minutes east of midnight here, and things are warming up again with highs! today reaching 77*F. Today’s pic is of the giant stylized teepee in Medicine Hat, Alberta.
"The Saamis Tepee was originally constructed for the Calgary 1988 Winter Olympics. Each of the 10 masts feature a large storyboard depicting aspects of native culture and history.
Below the Saamis Tepee in scenic Seven Persons coulee lays the Saamis Archaeological Site, one of the most important archaeological sites of the Northern Plains. The area was once a buffalo camp and meat processing site, and experts believe over 83 million artifacts are buried at the site.”
