I'm sure there are people here that participate in Marial arts of some sort.
So, I have an ethics question.
I had done jiu jitsu/judo for 6 months before the shutdown.
At some point, they started up again, with teams, people who knew each other.
I signed up for one of these teams, only to see it disappear in 2 weeks. That is when the automatic billing must have kicked in again. There was also a Judo workout (no touch) class around then.
A year later, I discover that I have been paying for a year that I had not attended
Yeah, it's my fault that I didn't check the bank statements more often.
He (the owner) did spot me 5 mouths.
Should I go back?
It's the only place in the area that does Judo (which I like better).
It is a 5 min drive.
They still charge 120$/month. Everywhere else charges more.
I paid for the first 3 months of the shutdown in hopes that they survive the shutdown
This attitude was not reciprocated.
Judo is on Wednesday, bluegrass jam night. I would miss one half of the jam.
No reptation practice (Uchi Komi) in either Judo or BJJ.
Any thoughts appreciated
I will support what decision you make.......
If you DO decide to go back, check your credit card statements each month!!!
Thanks for the replies
... And yes Texasbanjo, I have checked all bank statements since then.
I'll probably start working out for a month on my own, then return. Wednesdays will remain Bluegrass Jam night.
I think the ethics question is on the judo place.
Go in and discuss this with them and if their ethics are good then they will reimburse, retroact, or whatever to ensure you didn't pay for nothing.
