Hi there all Banjo players,

I recently found out one of my thumscrews missing wich connect the resonator to the body of my Recording King RK 35...

I still have bad luck finding one here in Europe...
could any one help me out?

Kind regards Jochem

This one popped up on eBay. Unfortunately the postage to get it to Ruurlo will be about 3 times the cost of the part.

Prucha, in Czech Republic, sells thumbscrews made to Gibson pre-war specifications. I believe that would make the size and thread the same as RK-35.

Possibly cheaper to ship to you from there.

You could write to Prucha first to ask what they think: prucha@pruchabanjos.cz

Hi Old Hickory,

but i've found a thumbscrew that fits at the sparepart department of Thomann Germany!
very happy problem solved!
