Good dark and early morning from clear Kingston, Ontario. Just back from Bloomfield, Prince Edward County, under a full moon sky. The report says it's 16C. Whatever, it was a lovely drive back, and it was nice on the Glenora ferry (photo). Later, it's supposed to be 26C under sunny skies. The Quarter Moon Coffee House was a blast, with everyone having fun both as performers and audience. I did guitar instrumentals in open tunings on 12- and 6-string, and backed up musical friend Peter on banjo. Today - no plans, except maybe music practice for the Song Circle on Wednesday and Fiddler's Dream on Thursday, plus the next Quarter Moon in two weeks. Forty years ago today Bruce Cockburn played the revolving stage at the Forum, Ontario Place, Toronto. Forty-one years ago today Cathy Fink, and Stan Rogers and band, played Mariposa Mainland at Harbourfront, Toronto.
Have a great day! (Listen to the music!)

G’mornin’ fellow pip installers,, ‘tis 51 minutes west of tomorrow which bodes a warm one, going up to 90*F. I’ve worked my way into busking 4 hours a week at the farmer’s market, with a 1pm slot later today. My fiddle-tunes-on-banjo are getting polished up which is a good thing, I’ve let them slip recently. Photo is of the famous “Bluenose”, the fishing and racing schooner built in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia in 1921, commemorated on one of our stamps. Bluenose is a nickname for a Nova Scotian, dating back to the 1800’s.

And like the Mary Ellen Carter rise again. Don't give up, I mean it, we need your strength.
We like her choice of nesting material, but how did the couple get the basketball net up into the cactus.
And then the 4 Harris hawks just happened one morning.
