Howdy friends! I’m just looking for feedback on if I should remove the stickers and the clean this case? Would it make it more appealing maybe?

Leave it the way it is for a while and see if it sells. If you don't get a nibble within a week or two, then try removing the stickers. A former band mate of mine had stickers all over his Dobro case so he could pick it out in a crowd. After trying to find my banjo case in a crowded venue one night I could appreciate his rationale.

thanks for the comment! I'll try waiting. Can you comment on price... I know that new ones are now $1500. This seems fair for a clean decent Calton, right?

I can't really comment on the price. I have never owned, or shopped for, a Calton case so I really don't know much about the prices of them, new or used.

I don't mind the stickers, but would probably ask you to remove them as part of a purchase. As for the ad, I'd appreciate more specs in term of pot size, scale length, openback vs. resonator, etc.

Whether you actually remove them or not, a hair dryer, naptha and goo gone are useful tools. I often find that heating stickers helps surprisingly so in getting them loose. Naptha and Goo Gone are pretty benign but test on an inconspicuous area first. Different adhesives respond differently to different solvents. Pulling stickers off backwards on top of themselves (179 degree angle) also helps getting them off in one piece.

That’s actually a good price, particularly since it’s a Canadian made case. But I think you’ll get more interest if you remove the stickers.

I've had good success with heat, GooGone, and WD40 works too. Naphtha is a little too flammable for me.
