Good dark and early morning from damp Kingston, Ontario. It's 26C now but we're looking at a wet 22C later - 60% chance of drizzle or rain. That could put a damper on my planned early morning ride after putting out the garbage and recycling. Yesterday I started a ride at 6:30 a.m. The return ride was relatively traffic-free. I also bought a new power cable so now the computer won't die on me. On this date in 2015 there was a club ride from Camden East, heading north, west, and then back, via Beaver Lake. Here are some shots, the last two near the end back in Camden East.

Have a great day! (Safe home!)

G’mornin’ everybody,, ‘Tis a mere 21 minutes west of midnight here,, we’re going through a warm spell for a couple of weeks, hopefully things don’t get too dry in the mountain forests to the west. Photo of the southern Alberta town of Foremost - in the 1930’s and in 2019. The map image will give you an idea where it’s located in relation to Montana towns.

Have a terrific Tuesday everyone. Yet another hazy, hot and humid day here in Massachusetts.

Last night my son texted me asking for a photo of Thalia, a sailboat I owned 20 years ago. I sold her after the marina she was in was sold and the new owners tripled the prices for moorings and other services.

Nice boat Bill !
Here's a short story of our saling career . About maybe 10 yrs or so ago , we got the bug & I bought a used 17' Siren sail boat built in Canada which could comfortably sleep 2 .
Structurally it was fine , esthetically , not so much , so , after a lengthy restoration , spray painting it completely w/ auto epoxy paint , refinishing all wood , new lexan windows , & painting the trailer , we set out for nearby Cayuga lake w/ "Wind Waltz" decaled on the transom . We launched it w/ no problem & the little Chrysler out board took us out to the rough lake at which time all small craft were coming in ---- including us . The swing keel operated via a cable & small winch  going down thru the hull where by very little water could slosh up thru & on to the aft seating area floor & quickly drain away . Guess I forgot to mention this to my wife who became VERY panicky upon this happening ! She was no new comer to boating , but not this !
Several weeks later , a very happy buyer from Maine picked up the boat .frown
