Good dark and early morning from clear Kingston, Ontario. It's 18C now, will drop to 12C, and then rise to a sunny 26C. I have another volunteer shift with Bicycle Valet Kingston at Artfest in City Park. I did a double shift yesterday, at the end of which I walked over to check out the traditional singing and picking I heard from the performers' area. It turned out to be local singer and picker Anthea Feaver. I took a few pics and we talked briefly afterward. (We know each other from the Elm Cafe sessions and from a house concert on Wolfe Island.)
Have a great day! (Make your music finger picking good!)

Good morning from Sweden
Have a super Sunday everyone.
Yesterday my son and I took a boat tour of the canals here in Lowell. Lowell was the first urban National Park and it’s a huge part of the local economy.
The first photo is of the lock and gatehouse where the tours start. Next is our captain steering us away from the dock. The brick building behind him is where I live. My unit is on the top floor next to the elevator tower on the right.
The canal we’re on was the first canal built. It was originally build for barge traffic around the Pawtucket Fall and only later for water power to the mills. The third photo is of the tolls for cargo passing through the canals.

Good morning from Ozaukee County, Wisconsin.
Big family get-together yesterday.
Out of us eleven siblings, all ten who are still alive showed up, along with spouses, children, grandchildren, one cousin, my pal Tom who I've known since we were 2 years old, and a gray haired granny for whom I was the baby sitter, back when she was barely old enough to walk.
Mary and I brought our banjos.
And we sounded better than usual, with several of my sibs singing along.
Good Day! Here's a look off in the distance from a local beach to the farthest western point in the contiguous United states.
Cape Alava & Cape Flattery the graveyard of the Pacific.
This a well known story in these parts. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zbyVYrkKBtw

Tomorrow will be 6 months to the day since I adopted the middle-aged stray cat that I named Rumpuss. Jan.03 was exciting in anticipation. All her frozen bits came off and she healed up without complications.
No nonsense, all 4 feet on the floor, but quite affectionate when we are alone in the house.
Computer guy coming next week. All new hardware and trimmings, tower and laptop.
I've had quite enough with this laptop Toshiba pig acting up. Just getting worse.
