The big danger here , given the drought, is FIRE. I wouldn’t be surprised to find all fire-service leaves cancelled at least till Tuesday.

Hey Al,

Since my law license is inactive, I can no longer practice, though I could represent myself in a legal action (just as anyone can).. Is your revoked blasting license the same? That is, would you be allowed to work for yourself on your own property?

Oh...

I still have a blasting lic...

Just not a cdl driver's lic...

So no driving the explosives truck..

It is a interesting  question  you have tho..

All the skirting many things..one may be able to do work on thier own property..

As long as it is not for commercial use..

There are a bunch of loopholes...

The transportation laws.. are really screwy  too...

For example...me..now with no cdl lic. ...can buy ..own n transport...model rocket engines..by the ton..no requirements..

But if I had a cdl lic...I would need placards n a trip sheet ..plus all msds sheets....

N a certified explosives trunk...

One is for buisness.. n the other is consitered a hobby...

Also...the end seller must hire a cdl hazmat driver...to drive them to thier store...

As that is for commercial..buisness...

While blowing off your fingers and hands and eyes out ....keep in mind all those doggies who are under beds and furniture shaking and shuddering....and the ones that even run away from home......if you have a dog that needs shelter from bombers call your vet, they have easy sedatives that work like magic.....thanks for listening

My brother set fire to his house when a New Years Eve fireworks he set off went awry and smashed through his front window and ignited the living room carpet. My step mother’s father was a performing accordionist in polka bands when an M80 fast fused and blew off three fingers on his keyboard hand and ended his musical career.

I leave the pyrotechnics to the professionals

This year (so far, we'll see what the rest of the weekend brings) hasn't been as bad as the neighbors haven't been shooting off fireworks until the wee hours. It's against City regs., but they don't seem to care. Maybe the price of the fireworks as deterred some of them?

I used to have a dog that was afraid of thunder, fireworks, any loud noises. I tried Thunder shirts which didn't do anything at all to help him. The only way to calm him down was to put him in a chair next to me and cover him up with a towel. My other two could care less about thunder, fireworks or loud noises. Go figure.

Fwiw...
I have a blasting lic...

Fireworks folks have a ..Shooters lic...
Two different things..
We only joined at the hip by storage n transportation regs..

N fireworks are far less regulated..in thos matters..
