Hello, just wondered if someone can enlighten me as to exactly what this banjo is, I was gifted two banjos by an old relative, one was a Washburn, which I was told has a donut tone ring, the other was this Windsor, hope some can help, Thanks all.

Hi
My first banjo was a 1926 Windsor Premier 5 string. I bought it from the Clifford Essex shop in London in 1970. I used that banjo for many years and sold it only a few years ago. I have very fond memories of it and used it to play "Devils Dream" as recorded on my music page here.
Windsor was a very prolific maker of banjos before WW2, and you can read about the company here vintagebanjomaker.com/windsorpart1

Regards
Harry

The OP's Windsor banjo is, however, a four-string banjo. From the pictures, it cannot be told whether it's a tenor or a plectrum banjo. Edit: The title of the thread says it's a tenor banjo, I see now.
