I finally made and completed my Bolo.  The slide is 3" and change Long. Fine silver I hammered over jewelers bronze hammered around its edges. After soldering, I put a slight curve in it, on the vertical axis.  The clasp is made from soldering together two silver rings I formed. The bolo is 8mm German/Italian braided leather.  The tips are Sterling silver tubes that I solder closed at one end with sterling sheet.
I should credit Leonard Nez, jewelry maker, New Mexico.

The only glue used was to glue the bolo into the tips.
if only you knew the mistakes I made along the way.  Resoldering, rebuffing, etc.

Thanks! I would love to make one with a gold layer, but $$$$. And, I have worked with gold.
I was a fun project for me. I never made a man piece before.
