So I acquired a barrel in 17 ultra wildcat...
Made it fit one of me recivers...
Completely free floated the barrel...
Made some cases fer it...(not an easy one to do..)
Fire formed some of them...
Man this thing shoots ..STUPID FAST..!
With 20 grain bullet...
Some of the loads with today's powders..pushin 4600fps
Kinda fun..
Gonna try to send a fer down range..at some paper mebee today..
Mebee a few water jugs too... ;0)
4600 fps! That is fast! That's about 3200 mph!
Compared to that, when I shoot my 22 LR rifle, the bullet comes out of the barrel, yawns, strolls down the range at a leisurely pace, looks around and admires the scenery, then hits the target.
That is SMOKING fast!!! Keep us posted!!!
