You wanna' hear a good sounding banjo, played well?  The notes sound like a rifle shots!

That surely must be Sonny Osborne's Granada, yes?

Great skills on display there. I bet he could make EXACTLY the same sounds with a 1929-30 PB-Granada.

We should be grateful there are young fellows like Lincoln (and his ilk) who do what they do, so well.

I love it. Clean, straight forward, the melody always present and not filled with meaningless lick after lick after lick that would add nothing to the rendition.

That is Sonny's Granada he's playing according to the liner notes. Sonny was still alive when this was posted and I'm sure he wouldn't have trusted just anyone with his baby. That shows how much regard he had for Lincoln.
Lincoln Hensley is a great up and coming musician. I hope I'm still around to hear what he sounds like in twenty years.

Young Mr. Hensley has a great future ahead of him.

Sonny's Granada sounds like it belongs in his hands...
