Sounds like banjo in it's folk comfort zone. Listening to The Worst We Can Do Is Fall I'm reminded of Bellowhead especially in the horn arrangements. Prokaniac seems to have an East European element which reminded me of the Warsaw Village Band. Anyway it's great stuff and exactly where the banjo should be.

It's a beautiful instrument with one of the most unique tones in music. You don't even need to buy a fancy "instrument". Just go to the local hardware store and buy the longest hand saw you can find. I use a 26" Stanley fine finish. Pair that with a cheap cello bow & rosin, and voila! Instant ghost choir! Just be careful! Those teeth can bite!

Excellent! Thanks so much for listnineg and sharing your impressions. I had'nt heard either of those groups, but now I'm excited to hear what they make. People often ask us what bands we think we sound like and we're always at a loss. That whole "RIYL" section has always been a bit of a mystery to us.
