My blood is black and gold, but I stopped watching professional sports, football was the last to go. They just don't care about the fans and it's all business for them. It does allow me much more time to enjoy folk music! Good luck to your team!
Purchased my first Planxty recording in 1981. Saw them live in, I think, 1983. Brilliant music on so many levels. Their version of Little Musgrave is sublime. Too bad that Liam left us in 2018.
Rick - I've lived in Vermont for 40 years, but I'm born and raised in Wilmington, the first training camp of the Bengals. I still have family in Cincy. I still pay attention to the Reds, Bearcats and Bengals, and I was thrilled at the win last night, inadvertent whistle or not !! I no longer play bluegrass (graduated to clawhammer and Scottish bellows pipes), but great memories of Aunt Maudie's, WYSO, FOTMC and beyond.
