Hey folks,

Would anyone here be able to help with the song, "Queen Anne Front"?? I wanted to play through the chords of the song, but I cannot seem to find the chords or key online. Anyone have any idea as for the chord progression and key/tuning?

I would very much appreciate it. Here is a recording with Pete Seeger singing it: youtube.com/watch?v=ZNH8uB_Rpmk

Thank you everyone!

He is probably tuned to C! When in doubt about a Seeger tune, assume he is in C I guess! Also, it doesn't sound like he is chording too much, but is using a very common lick of his. He is chording C (first string-second fret, second string-first fret) and hammering on the third string second fret. The attached link shows it at 9:50:

I don't know the chords so I can't help you there, but it sounds to me he is also so doing some double thumbing at some parts. Best of luck.

Thank you for your advice. I also do think he is using c tuning and choring c often through the song, but he must be chording a few other chords also, right?

You might try F or G7. If you don't already have his book How to Play the 5-String Banjo, I would pick that up.  It is very helpful.

Thank you for your advice.

Yeah, I have had his book for a long time, and it really has continued to help me out a lot. A great read for the beginner and experienced alike.
