Good dark and early morning from cool Kingston, Ontario. It's 0C now, dropping to -5C, then rising back to 0C later, with periods of snow. It looks like a good time to hunker down indoors. Painting: Graham Norwell, "Parliament Buildings at Night", oil on board. A different view of Ottawa.

Have a great day!

A 36 minute wait until tomorrow has me feeling like an impostor on this august thread.
However, a cold day in store with highs (!) in the 20’s. They’ll be flooding the rinks at the neighbourhood park, I’m betting.
Pic is of Jerry the cat taking over mild-mannered Cash’s bed at my daughter and SIL’s home a few years ago.

Good Morning from cool (25f) and snowy Northeast Wisconsin. Got about 2" of snow last night and more on the way. We are right on the line between the forecast for 2-4" and trace to 2" later today. Supposed to get up in the mid 30's later which will make the roads icy.
Oh well, will see what happens, I have the snow blower already to go.

Here's a shot from Wiffin Spit. A finger of land dividing the Sooke harbour from what they call the Sooke Basin. You can see the town along the waterfront.

This spot is where a bible camp had a fish plant years ago.

If you look at the horizon you can see that rounded hump . We are in a valley back in there & can see it from our front window. I think it's called Tin Cup mountain. That's what i call it anyway!

I hope everyone is healthy and mellow today. Enjoy your family and be sure to hug your banjo.

Hola from beautiful west-central MB.  Generally overcast, no wind and an invigorating -11 C. I was just out to turn up the shop heat, so until the real foosball game this aft [i.e Riders vs. Blue Bumblers] it looks like same ond, same old for me... puttering away on trailer renos.

However, since I expect you all have been waiting with baited breath, I can report that one of my hair-brained ideas seems to have been successful.  Wanting a harder fill than regular Bondo (TM) filler, I mixed it:  filler + cream hardener + resin + liquid hardener = yes .  [But, everybody can remain calm.... in adherence to my KISS principles, I just eyeballed the proportions.]

....and seeing as the Eskimos-come-Elks  finished down the track... Go Riders!!

Have a super Sunday everyone.

Here’s a photo of the oldest church in Andover. It was built in 1826. It was not included in the coloring book but I do like how the dark clouds set the steeple off. Eventually I will photoshop the power lines and poles out of the photo.
