I have a friend, getting on in years, and he and his wife are getting rid of stuff they have accumulated over the course of their lives.
This includes 4 looms and all kind of apparatus and a mountain of yarn.
I persistently invited to help them sell the stuff but they want it all gone, today.
They insisted I can have it, they would be thrilled if I can just get it out of the house.
I have no need for it but it looks like there’s some genuine value. They want me to sell it if I can.
I will have to. I don’t have room for this at my house.
So, where does a person go to sell 4 looms ?

.... you mean "today,"  today, or that sooner is better than later?

An option could be that they sell the current abode as is and move.   We've sold property a couple of times stipulating the minimum stuff that is included, but regarding other stuff it's, "we take what we want and leave the rest,"  so make your offer accordingly.   It worked fine.

Another option might be to list it on the LHO website.

What kind of looms? How big? How much yarn? What kind of yarn?

You may not know the answer to any of these questions, but your friends will. There are a couple of knitting forums that have people who knit on looms but these are fairly small items, not great big ones.

PM me with as much information as you can and maybe I can help you find a way to sell or get rid of that stuff.

As an aside: you can check out Etsy.com and see what you can find about looms and yarn.

There's always Craig's List and Facebook, Snapchat and a few of those other social deals that you could look at/check on. I'm not on any of them, but know people who have sold quite a bit using those things.

Edited to add:  is there a local yarn store in their town?  That would be a good place to start.

Contact the fine art departments of your local colleges. They should have connections to the "fiber arts" people. Those might be organized as a "Spinners & Weavers' Guild." There's the place to sell everything.
