Thankful that my health is still good, that my adult children are all happily married and settled down, that everyone in my family is in good health. Thankful that I'm still able to play my banjo, even if I'm not as good as I used to be.

August 21, 2019. I'm a little over 2 years old. I'm alive. That counts the most.
The remaining physical challenges are exhausting but there's even more bright stuff to appreciate.

Where to start?

Well, I'll start with being thankful to draw breath each day and enjoy this beautiful world.

Although We don’t celebrate thanksgiving here in the U.K., I’m grateful that I’ve got ‘radio silence’ as all of my friends ‘that side of the pond’ are either currently sleeping off a wonderful meal or bouncing grandchildren on their knees whilst wishing they were sleeping off a wonderful meal.

I hope you all have a very happy and peaceful thanksgiving.

Well I am thankful to be alive

On the 28th of October I was transported into a local hospital because my oxygen level dropped to 42 my wife and step doughtier called an ambulance and by the time the ambulance got me to the emergency room my oxygen level had dropped into the low 30s it was all due to the unspeakable subject we cant talk about not trying to get this post shut down but the OP asked so I felt I had to reply was released from the hospital on the 8th of November thankful to be alive

The hospital Doctor's and nurses kept telling me i was their miracle patient LOL I asked them what the heck they meant and they said you should not be alive rite now, went for a follow up with my primary care doctor and he said he was expecting to receive a death certificate on me.

Thankful to have the grandkids in. Lit two candles and placed on the table. The first is to remember my wonderful mother, my dad, my gf's parents and those we have lost. The second candle is in remembrance to the thoughtful person who lost their life and donated their liver - which saved my gf's life. I will continue to pray for peace in their hearts, and give thanks for the most wonderful love gift of all.
