Good dark and early morning from cool Kingston, Ontario. It's -5C now, dropping a couple of degrees before climbing to -2C later. And I'll be on the bicycle at an event at Portsmouth Olympic Harbour, site of the sailing events for the '76 Montreal Olympics. Of course it would take place on the coldest day of the season to date. Painting: Thoreau MacDonald (son of J.E. H. MacDonald of the Group of Seven), "Georgian Bay", black and white watercolour, using a stencil technique necessitated by the "shakes" he experienced at the time. Some people also claim he was colourblind.

Have a great day!

Have a terrific Tuesday everyone.

The Chapel at West Parish Cemetery is another “coloring book” site. Built in 1909 and refurbished about 25 years ago, it’s a lovely chapel set in the West Parish Cemetery. It’s available to rent for weddings, concerts (incredible acoustics) and other events. The stained glass windows are supposedly from Tiffany. The cemetery itself was established in 1692 and enlarged in 1908 and is a garden style cemetery and is on the National Register of Historic Places.

Good morning from Ozaukee County, Wisconsin, USA.
29 degF at 7 AM.

Golden Tones senior chorus rehearsal at 9, giving a banjo lesson at 1, then off to deliver a woodworking project to Ralph.
Then off to Mary's to pick up another carload of stuff to help her move.

Amazing how busy a "retired" person can be.

Good Morning from clear and cold (20f) North Woods. Turkey is defrosting in the fridge and I set up a big table in the family room for pre-dinner snacks. Two saw horses and a salvaged door that I picked up somewhere. We normally have full sit down dinner later in the afternoon. Our day is spent watching football and parades as well as talking over the events of the last year.
Have a good day, keep safe and warm.

Chilly & windy here while going to pick up the bird & various other last min items plus a flu shot . We build up points at our grocery store & had $1 off a gal for gas so I filled up the Camry & shall rinse off the road salt from the premedicated (sp) road crew .

Enjoy your day !

G’day, folks. A cloudy and later snowy day here in the Rocky Mountain foothills.
A photo of a bygone year during the city’s “Stampede Days”. Riding boots and jodhpurs for the “Constables-On-Patrol”.

It WAS a good day! I listened to a 3 hour podcast on bats today. It made my workday go fast.

It seems there's less vehicles on the road now that everyone has gas. A good commute for me is 30-35 minutes to get there & 45 to get home. I nailed that today.

We're getting ready to be walloped with rain again. We just had 2 clear sunny days in a row.

Here's a shot from Sooke. I joke that the Island drains better than the mainland!

This view from downtown never gets old for me.
