Good dark and earky morning from cool, clear Kingston, Ontario. It's 4C now under clear skies and will hit 12C later. Yesterday I had a short ride to try out the new bicycle tires. They passed the test, and I may order a couple more to have on hand. Painting: One of ours, "Haliburton Birches near Minden, Ontario" by Frederick Stanley Haines.

Have a great day!

Have a wonderful Wednesday everyone. Still cloudy and windy after our hurricane force storm with another big storm predicted for Friday night into Saturday. We've had over three feet of rain at the house so far this year.

On my way back from a hike (in the rain) yesterday, I cut through the high school baseball field. A gaggle of over 30 Canada geese waddled away as I approached except for this one. It did one legged hops to keep me in sight as I walked by.

Paul R The Mayor of MacDougal Street was an amazing performer. I was lucky enough to see him a number of times, often in very intimate clubs.

I was amazed at how he could hook his thumb over the neck and fret the E string and then walk up and down the neck with his fingers playing chords and leads. I swear he could span almost an octave doing that.

Have fun tonight, I hope.  Youngtown, Arizona has a little turtle pond, and we get about 50 geese for a while this time of year, they eat the palm tree dates, they irritate golfers and cause them to wash their balls.  All golfers should wash their balls.
