Just acquired a Vega Artist resonator tenor banjo, 1927, from Bernunzio's in Rochester. Wonderful instrument, dilapidated case. Looking for suggestions. Specs for instrument: 33 ½" overall length, 19 fret, 10 15/16" rim, 13 ½" resonator, 3 ½" high (hard to measure this). Online I've found a TKL 7843, and Deering makes cases for resonator tenors, and Gold Tone has an Irish tenor case. And I guess I could custom order a Calton and end up paying as much for the case as the banjo ... Any other suggestions? Is it possible to get the original case refurbished? Thanks for your help.
I have a few good vintage cases for tenor banjo's, many from vintage Vega banjo's. I also have some used modern tenor banjo cases. $50 plus shipping. Shipping is a little high right now. Email or text for pictures.
