I actually perceived this as

"time for me to DRINK!"

Anybody else have similar stories?

In the late Fifties or early Sixties, Mom and Aunt Vivian were walking around Ste-Agathe, in the Laurentians, north of Montreal. I guess they'd been in a few stores. Aunt Vivian said, "Let's go in that new store, J.E. Weller!"

It wasn't "J.E. Weller."

There were no initials. It was one word.

Back when you could order records / CDs via catalogs, we got the latest one in the mail and my wife got all excited by the title and exclaimed,
"Ooo, look Disco Very!"

It was also one word. We still say that phrase for an insider laugh.

'Way back, when my wife was quite new to the area we were traveling MB Hwy. #5 near Grandview, MB. Grandview is situated on what passes for a height of land in Manitoba, between the Duck Mountains and Riding Mountains... or at least what passes for mountains in MB.  In any event you can see for a fair distance... a bit of a "view panoramique," as roadsigns in Quebec point out.

As the town came into sight I facetiously noted: "Boy, you sure get a grand view from here...... I wonder which town that is."

"Flin Flon??"

[Apparently she's a proponent of "forgive and forget" ... 46+ years and counting. smiley ]

When I see TablEdit, it looks like tabledit (table-dit).

When I look at someone wearing a Titleist cap, I feel like asking if that's a disease of the nipple.
