Hi everyone. I'm looking for some advice to help me identify a banjo that was passed down to me by my Father when he passed away. I don't play banjo and I'm looking for advice on what it's worth and the best place to sell it. I believe it is an Ibanez Artist Masterclone 5 string Banjo and I feel like it's got to be lat 70's or early 80s. Here are the photos of it.

What you have there is model 591. It is a "copy" of the Gibson RB5. I have owned two of these. They make decent players.

Thank you everyone. Is there any price range I should expect to get on this Banjo?

I think current prices are in the range of $800-1000 DOC, so your current price seems reasonable. Yours has a Fiberkyn head and after-market tailpiece. It also appears to have an added set ofKeith gold D-tuners and an add-on pickup I swapped out the tone ring for a Stew-mac flathead ring in mine and it was a very satisfactory banjo after that.

As beegee mentioned above, you have a set of Keith gold D-tuners. Are the original two tuners
in the case? The Keith d-tuners in gold sell for $315.00 dollars new, and used are maybe worth
around $225.00 or so, by themselves.

Reverb will charge you 5% when you sell. You should list it here too, and pay less fees when it sells.

You should put Artist in the title of the ad.

Thank you so much for this input Bob.  As I know very little about this space it's good to know my price is within the right range.
