For most of today, when I change pages, it takes a few seconds longer than normal, followed by a blank screen [i.e. just background color] for from 2 to 6 or 7 seconds before the page I've switched to shows up.
Anybody else? .... or is it my computer? ..... or its operator?

Just the Hangout? I’ve been fine. Could be your computer, though more likely your internet or wi-fi.
...just BHO..... if it doesn't reset by powering off tonight I'll check cookies tomorrow. Since I'm pretty slow [methodical?] with input (?) it's only a mild annoyance at this point. ...Shall see what tomorrow brings. Thanks.
I've been expreiencing this on and off at various times in Safari 15 on a MacBook Air.
Some pages just don't load. Quitting Safari and relaunching helped sometimes. Not always. Switching to the Chrome brower helped.
I accessed it in Safari just now and it seemed close to typically responsive. Maybe a bit slow.

Just fyi: I’m running Safari in a 4-year-old iPad Pro, 128 gigs and iOS 14.7.1
Interesting situation. Logged in a short while ago and everything seemed more-or-less normal.... possibly a wee bit slow, but no blank screens. I submitted a post in another thread and started to type my submission for this one and noticed it wasn't accepting the key strokes [i.e. no words appeared in the box.... something that has happened periodically for a long time.... I just figured I must have inadvertently hit a wrong key]. I switched pages a few times .... a couple of them were like yesterday [slow/blank] and after that it seems back to normal. C'est la vie!
Must be something in your computer causing the problem. I haven't had anything like that happen and haven't heard of anyone else having that problem.
Maybe need to run an anti-virus and malware/spyware to see if you've got a bug of some sort.
Clear cookies, that might or might not help.
After I posted my message last night, the slow response/blank page came back. I could force a reload to get pages to load.
Since Chrome browser did not behave this way, I'm wondering if it's related to the Safari update I just installed.
Right now I'm on my phone. Our wifi is temporarily off while some work is being done. Will test later and report back.
Fwiw, 5 day update... I cleared the cache/cookies about4 days ago. Made no diff... left computer "off" while camping (?) for a couple of days [it doesn't get an invite]..... currently still a delay of a second or three and blank screens. No big deal, just not "normal" (?).
