With campgrounds around here winding down for the season, we're trying to get in a few more trips... 2 or 3 days at a whack.   During the main season, it was frequently too hot during the week and too crowded on the weekends.... so it was a rather slow summer camping-wise.  I guess we're trying to make it up now.

.... Having fair success at finding places* with few other campers [in one case it was zero], and  if not, I try to get as much separation as feasible and be mindful of wind direction, and my mute gets a workout.   We don't have a smart phone, our computer doesn't get an invite and the radio is rarely "on," and when it is, it's not tuned to the "news" (?).

* = also gotta have at least two of the "big three": fire pit, water [i.e. river or lake], and mature trees.  yes

"Every picture tells a story".

Is that some building that was abandoned before being completed?
After being completed?
Or is it in the process of being completed?

Anyway, looks like a good cover photo for your next album.

The Walker Stone Cabin was built by homesteader Harry Walker and his sons in 1911.
