I'm including my listing for a '95 Gibson ESS (Earl Scruggs Standard) below. Right now, I have a prewar TB-6, a 2005 Gold Star banjo and the Gibson ESS. I am missing the tone of my previously owned Nechvilles and was looking to acquire another.
I've tried Mahogany, Walnut and Maple Nechvilles and I seem to prefer the tone and clarity of the maple models, specifically the pahntom.
I'm a frequent trader, tinkerer, etc.. Wondering if anyone has a maple nechville they would be looking to part with for a '95 Gibson ESS (Earl Scruggs Standard.
Specifically looking for a maple with a regular tone ring (not the hybrid or wood), and preferably a phantom.
I have a maple Nechvile custom classic with 40 hole ball bearing tone ring.
