Good dark and early morning from warm and windy Kingston, Ontario. It's 23C and will drop to 18C before rising to 23C again. There is a severe thunderstorm warning including damaging winds and a possible tornado. It's a good thing we got to Gore's Landing at Rice Lake yesterday to pick up the Jane Robertson painting we bought on Saturday, with a lunch stop at the Buttermilk Cafe in Cobourg on the way home. The painting below is called "Wild Turkeys" by Carl Henry Von Ahrens, the choice inspired by the wind outside right now.

Have a great day!

Another pleasant balmy pre fall day here in upstate NY .
Re painting , yesterday early morning I was sitting on the back porch w/ a coffee & 2 young turckey hens strolled down from the hedgerow between the porch & the pole barn like they owned the place --- they are always welcome as are the rest of the wild critters .

Good Morning from clear and sunny Northeast Wisconsin. Yesterday picked up with a new (used '15) pickup to replace the '09 rusty pickup. F-150 XLT so it has all the bells and whistles that I need to figure out. Already got my phone bluetooth linked and programmed my favorite radio station. Need to get some sort of key code from the dealer to re-program the lock on the drivers door. Will have to add a trailer brake controller but have done that before.
Gonna be fun until I figure it all out.
All in all a supposed to be a nice cool sunny day.
Have a good day, keep safe.

Good day from NE Ohio.
Looking for a little rain this afternoon.
Getting a new vehicle is always exciting. I look forward to a rough and tumble truck some day.

Nice enough weather here.
Got a dog coming to visit, tomorrow afternoon, so I've been cleaning out the living room, so he's got nothing inappropriate to chew on or swallow.
Even found a few of my dropped medications.

And the rug is getting SO clean!
My brother was dating a gal with more dollars than sense, so when her vacuum cleaner stopped working, rather than clean it out, she bought a new one.
He asked her if he could give her old one to me, since he knows I like fixing stuff.
All it needed was a broom handle run through the hose, to push out whatever was clogging it.

Knowledge is power!
(She doesn't want it back)

Gloomy and still cold and wet from yesterday. Maybe 45F in a nasty breeze.
Got out my winter Carhartt coats. They gloriously windproof. Did not want to have to do that
but it seems inevitable.

There are lots of big spruce trees here and there around town. The west sides of all of them are turning reddish brown, mine included. They got cooked to death in the 44C hot spell afternoons at the end of June. Normal hottest of hot weather here MIGHT get up to 32C or so. (Body temp is 38C)

I hope that everybody is comfortable.
