I have an 10-3/4" dia. 1880's H.C. Dobson Silver Belle with a warped tension hoop.
Does anyone out there know of someone who could make a new tension hoop for it?
It can probably be straightened out—I'd imagine it's made from brass as opposed to pot metal.
Zach Hoyt is a reasonable option. I make my own, but have had Zach make some for me because he is very efficient cost effective at it. You may need to tweak it for final finish if you are going to have it plated after fabrication.
Thanks for the replies.
