Hi folks,

A dear buddy of mine has asked me to sell his banjo for him. This is a gorgeous Deering Vega Number 2. I just did a set up on it to make sure it is playing and sounding great. This is a really wonderful sounding tubaphone and it plays effortlessly. Let me know if you have any questions!

I have a 20s tubby, and don’t need this one, but the Deering tubbies are excellent banjos, properly (imo) made with a bracket band. They sound fine and are, of course, more playable than the old ones because of a shorter scale. If you would like a tubaphone, this one seems to me to be a very nice buy.

I also have a 20s Tuba and a Deering Tuba, I play the oldie indoors and take the Deering out for gigs, I truly think it is the finest banjo Deering has ever produced.
