It's Saturday night and we went out to the open house at the observatory a little further out in the country - and the whole time I was thinking "I wanna go home and play banjo".
I've been at it about 2 months now - I can't do all that much yet - I'm taking some lessons and my teacher gave me some good tabs - but I can't put it down - I'm sure I'm making everyone in the house crazy.
Pre-pandemic we went to the observatory most clear Saturdays, and I never once thought about my viola or my mandolin. Is there heroin in the strings? How does it work? Why do I come out of my skin when I'm not near my banjo?
It'll even out over the years.
You can put a mute on it, or fill the body with clean laundry, to reduce the sound.
Enjoy the "bug" while you got it! Before life gets in the way!
